The inaugural ceremony of the YSS Cup 2022 was held in blocks of three CDs

ANANTNAG- The 2022 YSS Cup was inaugurated on Thursday in three blocks of CDs by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Area of ​​Qazigund including Vessu, Qazigund and Hiller Shahabad.

The YSS Cup was launched in all these CD Blocks at various venues in Kabaddi, Volleyball and Kho-Kho, and at all relevant venues, the PRI inaugurated this YSS Cup 2022 by making their in-person presence.
The main function was held at HS Panzath where District Development Council Member Bilal Ahmad Deva along with members of Panzath Village Social Development Committee and Head of HS Panzath Institute Abdul Rehman Parray.

Speaking on the occasion, Area Activities Manager Abid Bashir instead welcomed the guests and highlighted the departments’ initiative of the YSS Cup for Common Youth in which last year, Anantnag district was declared runner up of UT level volleyball tournament and winner of UT level cricket tournament.

Speaking on the occasion, all the guests including the Director of HS Panzath Institute congratulated the department for the success of the YSS Cup last year and showed great appreciation for this year’s arrangements for the YSS Cup.

Vessu-Qazigund district development council member Bilal Ahmad Deva also stressed the importance of sports activities for the youth.

During this inaugural ceremony, DDC member Bilal Ahmad Deva also showed his great technique by playing a volleyball match with local youths.
