While it had strong sales, Cyberpunk 2077 was a disappointment for many. Since its release, CD Projekt Red has made it a more stable experience with patch 1.5 and beyond, but has given a sequel to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to be the Polish developer’s next project, it’s unclear what the future holds cyberpunk.

The game cannot afford to take risks, because the cyberpunk license is no longer known for its quality and stability in the video game space.
